In honor of Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s appointment as prime minister of Nepal, the United States of America congratulated him and sent him its best wishes.
Dean R. Thompson, the US ambassador to Nepal, congratulated the newly-elected PM Dahal on Twitter.
The US ambassador stated on Twitter, “Congratulations to @cmprachanda on his appointment as PM. Looking forward to further strengthening our 75-yr partnership & working together to support democracy, human rights, and economic growth”. “We are pleased with our strong and long-standing relations with Nepal and will continue to work with the government there to advance issues that are important on bilateral, regional, and international levels, such as attaining sustainable economic growth and advancing democracy and human rights.”
In the meantime, Dahal received congratulations from Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his appointment.
Sharif posted on Twitter, “Heartiest felicitations to Rt Hon’ble Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda on becoming Prime Minister of Nepal [sic],” “Pakistan and Nepal have good relations as regional partners. I am forward to collaborating with him to further develop our international relations and regional collaboration.
Dahal was congratulated on becoming the 44th Prime Minister of Nepal earlier on Sunday evening by the spokesman for the Chinese Embassy in Nepal and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
